The First Zhengzhou-Israel Air Freight Route Inaugurated
Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (hereinafter referred to as Zhengzhou Airport) inaugurated a freight route between China and Israel at the end of October. Flight 5C811, operated by CAL (Cargo Airlines Limited) of Israel, touched down at Zhengzhou Airport on October 25, marking the start of its first all-cargo air route in the Chinese mainland, which is also Israel’s first air freight route in Zhengzhou.
CAL, headquartered at Tel Aviv Airport of Israel, is an all-cargo airline and mainly provides international scheduled and chartered air freight services, including all categories of both general and non-standard products. Its maiden flight to Zhengzhou was conducted by a Boeing 747-400, an all-cargo flight, with a maximum load of 105 tons. The flight will be operated twice a week, mainly carrying European auto parts and posts.
To date, there are 21 cargo airlines operating at Zhengzhou Airport, involving 34 full-cargo routes connecting 40 cities. An international air freight network has come into shape, which connects Asia, Europe and America, and covers major economies in the world.

The inauguration of the air freight route between Israel and Zhengzhou will enhance its air freight network, and play a significant role in building ports of auto parts and posts for Zhengzhou Airport. It will help the airport to better integrate into the Belt and Route Initiative, and develop the airport into a platform for high-quality opening-up.
